HOW TO GET THERE?

Public transport

By FAR the best way to get to the event!

The event site is well served by public transportation. To find the route that passes closest to you, simulate your route by following this lien.

To make your travels easier, download and use the RTC mobile applications. The real-time RTC Nomade application (Apple Store / Google Play) allows you to obtain the route timetable and allows you to buy your transport tickets.

Cycling

If you plan to come by bike, there will be supports placed directly on the site to allow you to block it. You can then leave your helmet or other in the locker room available for all participants.

Many bicycle terminals of the àVélo service are also located near the event site.

Car

In anticipation of heavy traffic around the event site, and due to roadworks on rue de la Pointe-aux-Lièvres, resulting in the closure of the road between rue Lee and rue de la Croix-Rouge, we strongly recommend that all participants go directly to the parking lot of their choice on the morning of the event.

Here are your options:

  • Canac Stadium (700 spaces available)
  • St-Roch (on neighboring streets, where permitted by law)
  • Limoilou (on neighboring streets, where permitted by law)
  • Vanier (on neighboring streets, where permitted by law / 100 spaces available at 524 rue Bourdages)
  • Expocity ($15)

STARTING WAVES

To facilitate starts and ensure a smooth flow of traffic on the course, the 5 and 10 km races will start in 12 waves of approximately 500 participants each. You will be assigned a wave number based on your estimated time for the race. Participants with the fastest times will therefore start first. Wave changes are only possible if you wish to start with a slower wave, but you will not be able to start with a faster wave.

CHRONOMETERED TIME BY ELECTRONIC CHIP

If you are participating in the 5 km SML Stainless Steel or at 10 km, your time will be recorded by electronic chip. Timing is provided by Horizon 5, with technology from Sportstats. You can find your results on Sportstats.

Results

Since the purpose of the Défi Entreprises is above all to promote adherence to healthy lifestyle habits, there are no trophies or individual podiums. Also, as the number of participants is high, we use the time of the chip to make our ranking. This time would therefore not be recognized as your official time if you break a Quebec or Canadian record.
